- These workshops promise to be stimulating, creative, engaging, interactive and FUN
- They will help you build a network of reliable support on campus and in your community
- They will show you a variety of career options and what is needed to achieve and maintain positions in these fields
- They will guide you in overcoming friendship and other relationship conflicts or hurtful patterns
- They will assist in producing YouTube videos that can be included in your resume
- A video of YOU will be produced that you can post online for job searches
- Time will be carved out for you to meet other former foster youth on your campus and to learn about resources available to you
- People "who have been there" and understand your view points will be available to listen, guide and encourage you
- A $25 Target, Safeway OR gas card will be given to each participant after attending two workshops and will continue in this way throughout the 24-part series
- A NEW outfit will be gifted to every former foster youth who completes the series AND who graduates from their college program
